About Me

Amir Ben Hamou - Attorney and CPA
I am an attorney and CPA, and I previously served at the Israel Tax Authority as an inspector and an investigative inspector. There I learned from the inside how the calculations are made, where the common mistakes happen, and which rights many people never use because nobody told them about them.
My practice areas: real estate taxation (betterment tax, spreading and refunds), brokerage law (representing brokers in fee claims and clients in claims against brokers), support for buyers of properties sold by receivers and estates, and income tax refunds for employees.
Alongside my legal practice I work as a real estate broker. I know first-hand how brokerage orders and exclusivity agreements are signed, how negotiations are run, and where disputes usually start. That experience helps me build the case properly.
The two roles are kept separate: in a deal where I act as a lawyer I do not act as a broker, and vice versa, and I do not take a case connected to a deal I brokered.
